military-families

LEAD Academy salutes military families and is committed to providing you with the best available services for the success of active duty and military-connected students!

LEAD Academy values the many families that live in our community who have ties to the military. Approximately 2% of our student body has military ties. As a district, we understand the unique situations, and we want every military family to know we are here to help.

LEAD Academy has a designated military liaison that assists our military families. Our liaison works with the staff to provide training and also help families with resources.

Please get in touch with our Military Liaison if you have any questions.

LEAD Academy is dedicated to assisting all new scholars transitioning into our school system. This is especially true for military scholars. To help new scholars acclimate to LEAD, scholars meet with the military liaison and are connected with a peer to familiarize them with the school and the community. Students are assigned a buddy to assist with a tour of the school, class changes, lunch, and other facets of student day-to-day activities. New scholars  and parents of new scholars may contact their school military liaison  for more information.
